Natodant™ Introduction

Natodant™ is a tocopherol-based formulated antioxidant blend developed by HSF Biotech. The product is an ideal option to protect food and nutritional supplements against oxidation, increasing their shelf-life while preserving its active ingredients.

Natodant™ is composed of lecithin, carnosic acid, ascorbyl palmitate and mixed tocopherols. Its outstanding antioxidant power of Natodant™ is the result of the synergistic effect between these mentioned components.

HSF Biotech is a qualified producer of natural vitamin E with all certifications in place. We are supplying mixed tocopherols from 50% to 95%, both oil and powder.

Mixed tocopherols is not a single substance but a group of fat soluble compounds that include four tocopherols and four tocotrienols. Being used as a vitamin or as an antioxidant, mixed tocopherols are seen to be nearly twice as effective at preventing oxidation developing than a single alpha tocopherol.

Mixed tocopherols high in delta and gamma tocopherol are preferred for antioxidant activity in fats and oils. It can be added directly to fats and oils as early as possible in the processing steps. The dosage depends on the content of oils or fats and it can vary from 0.1% to 0.3%.The demand for mixed tocopherols as an antioxidant has been rising globally, especially in Europe.
